Well it has finally happened – Tesco’s have taken over the entire world – yep they have opened their store on Lewis, after much conjector, debate, waiting, excitement and worry (particularly for coop and their employees) for all islanders.
it opened yesterday but we have not been and i am not that keen to go but probably will at some point, to have a look and be able to join in conversations!
When we have such a great coop (ethical as you can get with supermarkets!) here who needs tescos!
There will be much reporting of it in local rags etc but a Flickr group (isle of lewis & harris) has created an interesting conversation with some equally intersting picture. This being one of the best/most worrying?
